FAMILY SURVIVAL ADVENTURE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Disconnect from modern life and reconnect to yourself, your kids and nature's rhythm. We will spend a week together learning regenerative skills with 2 nights camped out in the wilds of Dominican Republic. We will build a camp and live off the land. We'll rise with the sun and rest when it sets, forage for food, cook over a campfire and live barefoot like our ancestors. This is a special week-long event that allows us time to rest and regenerate, time to adventure and push ourselves to the limit and time to really, deeply reconnect to what truly matters.

HIVE PRACTITIONER TRAINING DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Are you looking to homeschool, unschool, worldschool or have an interest in independent, progressive education? Then this immersive, 5- day Human Hive Learning training is for you. We will dive deep into what it means to be a self-regulating practitioner. We will learn how to self-regulate and co-regulate so that we can support those around us to become well-regulated, grounded, confident learners and human beings. We will look at the research and theory underpinning self-regulation and self-regulated learning, design co-regulating activities and put them to the test with the local & Hive community. It's a fully experiential week. You will learn new skills, make new friends and leave with a more well-regulated nervous system. If you like, you can stay and volunteer for 6 weeks, your family can join The Hive and you'll emerge a fully qualified Hive Practitioner ready to work in a Hive or ready to take the next step and open your own somewhere in the world! 18+ CHANGEMAKER ADVENTURE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Are you over 18, intrepid, adventurous and looking for something extraordinary to experience? Do you care about people and planet and want to make a difference in the world? Do you want to meet other people with drive and passion similar to yours to make a difference with? Then come to The Hive and put your passion and ingenuity to work designing regenerative solutions to global challenges. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” Buckminster Fuller. Spend a week with The Hive team learning how to be a changemaker. And then stay for up to 6 weeks, discovering the area, meeting local people and seeing first hand how global issues affect people and nature on a local level. You'll learn to self-, and co-regulate, build relationships and take action with, not for others. We will support you to figure out the best way for YOU to be the difference the world needs. 6-WEEK HIVE CHANGEMAKER ADVENTURE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Our classic, 6-week Changemaker Program runs two times per year, November through March. The rest of the year our full-time Hive members are hanging out and unschooling together. "We all know that we face big challenges in today’s world: poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change are just some of the issues we need to address urgently.

Big challenges need bold action to overcome them, and that is where the Global Goals come in. They are a plan agreed to by all world leaders to build a greener, fairer, better world by 2030, and we all have a role in achieving them." At The Hive your family will become active participants in designing and executing their own ideas to contribute to the Global Goals and leave a legacy of change. You will all become changemakers equipped with the skills, knowledge and relationships you need to be the change you want to see in the world. The cost is $1995 per participant. (includes daily activities 9.00 - 3.00 Mon-Fri, 2 meals, kangen water refills and the bus to and from The Hive). There are lots of extras available, download the pack for all the details. OCEAN HEROES ADVENTURE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
